ATTACK OF CICADAS!

Billions of cicadas are terrorizing the coast East of the United States.

After 17 years of metro - and after a lot of headlines announcing their arrival - cicada Brood II begin to explode their beady, red eyes.  And they seem to be angry.

Cicada Brood X - another batch that emerges also every 17 years - last take the region in 2004. In some quarters, it was almost impossible to get off the sidewalks without inadvertently crushing the them.

Brood II are much more aggressive and repeatedly attacked humans.

The cicadas will be passed within four to six weeks - but the swarm will do considerable damage to the property, and the authorities expect 500-1000 fatalities against the attacks of the cicada.

Estimates are that the cicadas will be extremely thick: cicadas 1.5 million per acre.

The males make a gurgling noise extremely strong call their comrades. The sound of a full cicada tree was measured at 90 decibels - stronger than the movement of trucks.
