ASTEROID TO BOUNCE OFF EARTH TODAY!

An asteroid will Ricochet on the north pole Friday.   It will be on the ice and shoot into space.

This is the first time an asteroid will be bounced back to Earth.  Scientists say that if the thickness and ice composition corresponds to the composition of an asteroid, asteroid will Ricochet back to space.

"This is an event that occurs only once every seven hundred years," said Dane Wilkins cosmologist.

The asteroid, estimated to be approximately 96 meters in diameter, was detected for the first time Wednesday.

Space - named 2012 BX34 - rock hits after missing north pole of the moon.

Astronomers point out that there is no cause for concern.

"Nobody not will be hurt, unless you walk on the icecap.  A polar bear can be injured, but chances are slim, said Barry Willis, Director of the Minor Planet Center, based in the United States.

"It is in the events asteroids 20 albums in the history of the world," Willis told WWN.

Trajectory of the asteroid makes more close-rock space to pass through the Earth from the object 2011 MD in June 2011.

Previous estimates had put closest distance of the asteroid to as little as 5 000 km, near the distance over which resident of geostationary satellites, but the comments made by the observatories showed during the night it reached the north pole and bouncing.

Although the asteroid will not be visible to the naked eye, Dr Williams said that eager backyard astronomers could get a look.

"We had three sets of observations in the past hours by the observers enthusiasts in the United Kingdom," he said.  «They have all confirmed «the bounce»

If you are outdoors at 4 pm EST today, you can catch a glimpse of the asteroid Bounce.
